The hotel is fairly clean. Its rooms are spacious and elegant with a tub and a nice view. The outdoor bar is a nice plus. All in all, they offer top-notch service. I always enjoy my stay at Hotel El Prado in Barranquilla. The hotel impresses with its cleanliness and offers attractive views of the interior garden and pool. The rooms are luxuriously spacious and stylish, featuring a relaxing tub and lovely views as promised. Loved the environment. It had a homely feel being old and quaint. The service was excellent and the decorations in preparation for the Carnaval were wonderful.

The hotel was gorgeous and absolutely incredible, as expected. Loved our room that was kept very clean and available with a jacuzzi as well as a nice view. The staff were ready to help giving us information about places.

The hotel is beautiful and with an old colonial style. It gives a feeling of the past! The big swimmingpool is surrounded with big palmtrees, it's quiet and relaxing! The staff very kind and helpful, the atmosphere wonderful and the security good. Short way to shops and restaurants. But: The rooms need to be refurbished, it was simply disappointing to see the room after seeing the commonareas of the hotel. The rooms have no safetybox, safetyboxes is located in the reseption. Not very practical. The fitnessroom was poorly equieped, with no ventilation and is stinking! But we enjoyed our 3 days and would like to come back to this unique hotel again!!!

It's a wonderful hotel from another era. Yes, it's older than others but still grand. The staff are exceptional and the location is excellent. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you have never stayed here.
